ORBAN / Circuit Research Labs Inc. purchased the assets of Dialog4 System Engineering GmbH, Ludwigsburg, Germany.

Since the middle of 2000 DIALOG4 and ORBAN/CRL have been working together on many engineering projects and, together with the successful launch of the OPTICODEC in the USA, the way was pathed to merge both operations.  

Using patented and propriety technology, Orban/CRL is the worldwide leading manufacturer of audio processing and editing equipment used extensively by the radio and television industries, the Internet, satellite services and private individuals, including its highly respected and widely used OPTIMOD series of audio processors.  

	Full duplex audio codecs with direct ISDN/Ethernet access and X.21 interface. Audio bandwidth from 3.1 kHz Mono up to 2 x 20 kHz Joint Stereo. Digital and analog audio in- and outputs.
	Portable MPEG recording device for mobile recording with the possibility to edit and ISDN transmission to realtime audio codecs. Serves as a replacement for tapes, tape recorders or DAT.
	External desktop unit which can handle a distance to the OPTICODECs and MusicTAXIs of up to 500 meters. The graphical display shows peak meters, telephone directory, configuration of OPTICODEC 7200 and 7400 units and offers together with the numeric keypad similar control as the OPTICODEC 7400.
	32-bit software for MS Windows 98/NT4.0/2k/ME/XP for the remote control and update of the OPTICODEC 7200, 7400 and MusicTAXI units over the RS232 using a PC.
	32-bit software for MS Windows 98/NT4.0/2k/ME/XP to remote control nearly any number of OPTICODECs and MusicTAXIs using one or more PC work places.
