Digigram

Digigram was founded at the intersection of digital audio and personal computers. Digital audio required specialised, high-priced equipment. Digigram found ways to create and automate digital audio on computers. The first solutions used plug-in computer cards to accelerate the process and to compress the digital audio data to save hard disk space. Digigram created partnerships with other early innovators to address the needs of the broadcast, professional, and commercial audio marketplaces. Digital audio is found in everything from DVDs to children's toys. Digigram digital audio solutions can still be found in sophisticated computer sound cards. Digigram now introduces a new range of solutions in which Digigram software technology can be harnessed by generic computer hardware. Digigram technology could be an essential part of the radio program you listened to this morning. The same may be true of the television news tonight, the announcements during a football match, or the background music in a shop.

Digigram an ISO 9000-certified Company for Soundcards, Audio Software's and Accessories. Digigram is a OEM for hundreds of companies such as
Fairlight
ON AIR SYSTEMS (OGENIC),
Nagra Digital

miXart 8 Seamless integration

miXart 8 is delivered with a WAVE driver that allows managing direct-to-disk recording and playback functions via standard audio applications.
The VConsole Builder application, which is automatically installed along with the card's driver and the Wave driver, gives access to the management of a broad range of mixing and routing functionalities, using a virtual console as interface.

Digigram releases ASIO driver for miXart 8 range of multichannel sound cards

Digigram, a world leader in innovative digital audio network solutions, has released a new driver set v2.00g for its miXart 8 range of multichannel sound cards, which includes miXart 8, miXart 8 AES/EBU, and miXart 8 CN. For the first time, the driver set features an ASIO driver in addition to the existing WAVE and Digigram np drivers. An open source Linux driver project for this range of sound cards was launched in September 2003.

ASIO has become a recognized standard for multichannel applications in music and audio content production, as well as video post-production and DJ applications. We are proud that professional users and ambitious amateurs now can capitalize on both ASIO's low latency and the miXart 8's sound quality.

The miXart 8 is a unique platform, combining powerful Digigram onboard processing with comprehensive audio mixing functions. Professional audio applications requiring multiple I/Os for distributing, recording, routing and mixing can take advantage of the miXart’s 8/8 analog mono I/Os, including four microphone preamps with phantom power supply.

The miXart 8 AES/EBU features 4/4 additional stereo AES/EBU inputs/outputs to make it the ideal card for the professional audio environment, particularly broadcast and production. Due to its synchronization capabilities, the miXart 8 AES/EBU is an excellent choice to integrate audio with video systems.

The miXart 8 CN is the world's only sound card with Cobranet interface. It provides eight channels of Cobranet input and eight channels of CobraNet output, which operate independently of the analog inputs/outputs.
